sesen.ai is a London-based boutique AI and machine learning consultancy. We work with organisations that have run pilots and now need systems that survive production, procurement and audit.

The practice is led by Dr Berkan Sesen, an Oxford DPhil in AI who spent over a decade building AI inside regulated institutions: algorithmic trading at Citigroup, ML-powered funds with more than $2bn under management at JP Morgan Asset Management, and Head of Algorithmic Execution and AI at UBS. Building a model is the easy part. Evaluating it honestly, controlling it, and fitting it into how the business actually operates is where projects succeed or fail.

We offer four things:

AI strategy and readiness. Use case identification, feasibility and ROI analysis, data and capability assessment, and a sequenced roadmap you can fund.

Implementation and deployment. Architecture, model and vendor selection, evaluation harnesses, and MLOps that takes a prototype to something monitored and maintainable.

Generative AI and agentic workflows. Retrieval-augmented generation, document and process automation, agent orchestration, with evaluation rubrics so quality is measured rather than assumed.

Technical due diligence. Independent assessment for boards and investors on whether an AI system does what the marketing claims.

Every engagement is led by the principal, with specialists from our network of senior ML engineers, clinicians and domain experts brought in as the scope requires.
