Do I need to be based in the UK to register?

Your business must have a UK presence, either a UK&I headquarters or a UK&I based team, to register for the AI Enablement Directory, powered by aibl.

Can I register if my business is a startup or early-stage company?

Yes, early-stage businesses can register for the AI Enablement Directory, powered by aibl. The aibl team reviews each submission on its merits, not solely on company size or years of trading.

What matters is whether your services are relevant to the mid-market, whether your profile gives buyers enough information to make an informed decision, and whether you can demonstrate practical AI implementation experience.

If your submission is not approved, the aibl team will contact you directly to explain why and what you can do to resubmit.

Can I register more than one business or brand?

Each legal entity or trading brand should submit a separate registration. If your business operates under multiple brands or offers distinct service lines under different names, contact the aibl team at before submitting to discuss the best approach.

How do I update my listing after it has been approved?

Once the directory is live, approved partners will be able to request updates to their listing by emailing . A self-service profile management feature is planned for a future release.

The aibl team will notify all registered partners when this feature becomes available.

How long does the review process take?

The aibl team reviews every submission manually and aims to confirm listing status within five business days of receiving a completed registration.

If your submission requires additional information, or if the team needs to contact you with questions, the review may take longer.

You will receive an automated confirmation email immediately after submitting, and a follow-up email once the review is complete.

What criteria does aibl use to approve or reject a listing?

We review every application against four criteria:

1. Services-led, not software-led. We list AI enablement businesses; consultancies, implementation partners, and training providers. We do not list software vendors or tool resellers unless they also provide substantive services.

2. Mid-market track record. Our audience are scale-up and mid-market business leaders (typically £10m–£500m revenue). We look for evidence that you understand and have served that market.

3. UK delivery capability. The directory serves UK&I buyers. We list businesses that can deliver directly to UK&I clients.

4. Verifiable client evidence. We look for real outcomes, a case study, a client reference, or a demonstrable result. A strong service description alone is not sufficient.

Businesses that meet all four criteria receive the aibl Verified mark and are listed in the directory. Those that do not are notified with feedback.

What happens if my registration is not approved?

If your submission is not approved, the aibl team will contact you directly by email to explain the reason and, where possible, to advise on what you can do to resubmit.

Common reasons for rejection include services that are not sufficiently focused on mid-market AI adoption, incomplete profiles, or company descriptions that do not give mid-market buyers enough practical information.

Rejection is not permanent, you are welcome to revise and resubmit your registration.

Can I check the status of my registration?

After submitting, you will receive an automated confirmation email containing your submission reference.

If you have not received a decision within five business days, contact the aibl team at with your submission reference and we will provide an update.

Will my listing be live immediately after approval?

No. Approved listings are held until the AI Enablement Directory, powered by aibl launches in Spring 2026.

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. You will then receive a further notification ahead of the launch date so you can prepare to share your listing with your network from day one.
