How Boardy works

Boardy is an AI networking partner we’ve teamed up with for aiblLIVE.

Once you’re registered, he gives you a quick, friendly phone call to understand your goals, the problems on your desk and who’d be useful for you to meet. Then he does the matchmaking: connecting you to peers wrestling with the same thing, to speakers who’ve already solved it and, where there’s a real fit, to the partners who can help.

And yes, Boardy is an AI, and that’s what makes it work. He can speak to everyone who’s coming, which no human connector could, so you get more matches, and better ones.

Register for aiblLIVE

Boardy is just for people coming to the event, so once you’ve got your pass, you’re on his list.

Take his call

Shortly after you register, Boardy gives you a five-minute call. Tell him what you’re hoping to get out of the day and who you’d like to meet. Miss it? No problem, you can call him back any time.

Boardy calls from +1 415 969 9735. It’s worth saving that number, it’s the one to call him back on if you miss him.

Boardy does the rest

He lines up the introductions that fit: peers, speakers and well-matched partners, and recommends the sessions worth your time. You walk in on 20 October already knowing who to find.

You're in control

Boardy makes networking easier, on your terms.

Every introduction is double opt-in

Boardy only ever suggests a connection.

It happens when you both say yes, and nobody gets your details without your go-ahead.

Nothing shared without your say-so

What you tell Boardy is used to make good introductions and recommendations, and nothing more.

You won’t be bombarded.

Opt out any time

Not for you?

Tell him you’d rather not, and that’s the end of it.

A few quick questions

Is Boardy really an AI?

Yes. He’s aibl’s AI connector, and he’ll always be upfront about that.

How do I get to speak to him?

Register for aiblLIVE and he’ll call you shortly after. Miss the call and you can ring him back whenever suits.

Do I have to?

Not at all. He’s there to make your day more useful, but if it’s not for you, just say so on the call.

What will he ask me?

Mostly what you’re hoping to get from aiblLIVE and what you’re working on right now, which is enough for him to introduce you well and point you to the right sessions.

What happens to what I share?

Boardy uses it to line up relevant introductions and session recommendations, nothing else, and never shares anything without your say-so.
